James Bond movies evoke many emotions & personally, I do like watching them ?
Q, standing for Quartermaster is a character in the fictional reasearch & development wing of the British secret service. Known to us primarily for arming Bond with all the latest tech & gadgets (it’s changed recently, though)
In the movie The World is Not Enough, there’s a piece of advice given to James Bond from Q, in addition to asking him to get back the gadgets / cars etc. in one piece ?
Advice is….
Never let them (enemy) see you bleed
Always have an escape plan
I did never notice untill then, but, in many older Bond films…..we never actually see him bleed ?
Daniel Craig’s Bond movies changed that norm, though
Those 2 pieces of advice always stuck with me & this is way I think that advice helps us…
Never let your money bleed – We can’t keep loosing money & especially in a big way.
The best rule, avoid losing it. Next best, if we can’t avoid it, atleast minimize losing it.
Always have a Liquidity plan – I’m used to repeating this every fortnight, I suppose.
But, the importance of having liquidity / money at disposal / cash or liquid investments is just not measurable with any yardstick.
Be it for kid’s education, emergency needs, spending on something valuable, gifting, charity and philanthropy purposes or just as pure available surplus whenever called for ??♂️.
This Liquidity at disposal is the utmost / critical component in our money life
We should never ever mess with it ?
Don’t bleed on money
Have Liquidity
Yes liquidity is the key when come’s to money management we said
