One of the good lines that I’ve come across in a blog…

Don’t fear a market crash, fear an investing strategy

What all can be interpreted from this statement ?

Let me try –

follow Asset Allocation

buy the Crashes

invest for very very long tenor & only the money which can withstand the waves of crashes

don’t ever speculate

understand where you’re putting your money to work

ignore the fear in the herd

embrace the courage to invest, when needed

never ever try to duplicate an investment strategy that you come across in the media, from a friend, extended family, colleague etc.

when there is fear all around, never ever sell your holdings & move out of your investment strategy

and market crashes keep crashing onto the shore every now and then like the waves in a sea / ocean – sometimes they are subdued, sometimes a little aggressive & once in a while the tsunamis too

Pls let me know on any more interpretations you can guess ?
