Coach, Captain & the Coin

The golden age of Indian cricket, is that phase behind us?

Yes, maybe with a reasonable probability

We are loaded more with traders & specialist F&O (futures & options) technical guys Vs the good old time tested, patience & temperament loaded test cricket players.

The importance of a guru (coach) & the captain can’t be estimated when the going is good.

Only tough times tell us on how important these roles are….

If the C & C (coach & captain), aren’t as sensible as they’re supposed to be, the players Asset Mix & Allocations can go horribly wrong and so the results.

When the right combinations of weightage s of batsmen, allrounders, spinners, fast bowlers & or medium pacers isn’t set in order, the results are bound to be like what we’ve seen and are seeing.

When fielding lapses with dropped catches (opportunities to win) are missed to cash in, on….. How much ever the score is (ones EARNINGS), the other team happily wins 🤷🏼‍♂

The flipped coin (toss) is never in our hands; but the outcome is always a 50% probability 😀 that it is in our favour

The pitch can never be in our favour always & ever, but for a classic wealth builder, as the good old 5 day test teaches – grit, patience, temperament, building the score each run at a time with some occasional boundaries & never giving away one’s wicket easily….that’s the way

Long term deliverable assets have to be build this way

Not the lucky dip trading / f&o, picks

Build a nice Test Team

T20 team can’t ever become a test team
