Core Engineering is history

Over 65% seats in our state are either Computer Science Engineering or a similar allied course/stream (AI/ IT/ ML/DS etc.)

The next gen isn’t choosing to diversify or is in a herd mentality mode

Trust me….majority of them will be UNEMPLOYED once they pass out

As I read somewhere….38% IIT students were not placed in 2024. Hope this yr was a better one

passing out from a prestigious institution doesn’t guarantee anything but in fact can be a liability in a way (expectations)

Personally, I know of so many with great pedigree but who struggle and also vice versa (no pedigree but are leading fantastic lives)

What does it boil down to?

Pedigree?

Academic Degrees?

% s in colleges?

Individual himself/herself?

Skills?

What’s the optimal Asset Allocation in this?😀
