Recently, I met a small team of young digital marketers from and hearing their surveys on gen Z etc…
My learning after a two hr listen only mode 😀
The gen Z/alpha/beta/gamma gen are saving/investing to SPEND, rather than for Wealth Accumulation (for a larger purpose in life)
Their savings/ investments are leaned more towards a spend on Experiential consumption than the tangible material consumption
They don’t mind an EMI filled life which can be viewed on their 6 or 7″ screens
Inheritance is thought to be an entitlement for themselves & (which) can be channeled as they wish to, during their lifetime (no thought of passing on the legacy – they expect it from the previous gen but they wish not to pass it on to their next gen)
Everything in their life needs to be EXCLUSIVE & DIFFERENT, ordinary things/experiences have very little value to cherish
They find it difficult to identify a GOOD SUITABLE ADVICE from a non suitable advice
Life runs only on & via screens😀
