Akshaya Tritiya – some great beginnings made but not buying Gold

Wishing you all great Health & Wealth on this auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya

The third Lumar Day of the bright half of the Vaisakha month falls this day of Akshaya Tritiya

Unfortunately it’s got so corruptly commercialized in the recent past that the day is now remembered for just buying gold ??‍♂️

Some events believed to have started / happened on this Akshaya Tritiya day??

The Pandavas in their exile received the invincible bowl, Akshaya Patra – a bowl which never ever runs out of providing for food ( What’s our Akshaya Patra? Have we provided for ourselves either in financial form or otherwise? For our Retirement or as in cash Flows )

The 6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu – Parasurama, was apparently born this day. His ruthlessness in axing the evil is well known ( Have we been ruthless in axing our Spending habits? Have we been ruthless in our Saving habits? )

Sage Veda Vyasa started reciting the Mahabharata to Lord Ganesha on this day. The condition between themselves – the sage wouldn’t stop reciting & Lord Ganesha wouldn’t put the pen down untill the sage finishes reciting the entire Mahabharata ( Should we ever stop our recitation called Savings or our writings called Investing? Never Stop Saving & Never Stop Investing )

Apparently, the rives Ganges descended from the Lord Shiva’s head onto the earth today ( We don’t need to wait for our Inheritance to descend from anyone’s head, as long as we can build our own fortune – take it if it comes, but we’re only a Trustee to keep it flowing like the river Ganga into the next gen hands )

Sudama, the poverty stricken Lord Krishna’s friend visited him in Dwaraka on this day & Lord Krishna bestowed unlimited wealth on Sudama ( If not yet, we can start building our limited or unlimited wealth from today )

Finally…

It is believed that, Lord Kubera, the God of Wealth, was bestowed this title today ( Our title of Wealth can be built too – it just takes time, discipline & good behaviour )

Get to the real reasons and forget the commercialization of these festivals
