Can we future identify the winners & losers in actively managed Mutual Funds across cycles?

England beat India in the first test, at Chennai (India)

Well, a winner doesn’t remain a winner in every match & a loser doesn’t remain a loser in every match too

By the way…

for a couple of years, Australia might be the #1 team

next two years it might be England

and then, the subsequent three years, it might be India etc.

The team rankings also keep changing in the various formats – Test / One day’s & T 20s… we’ll probably have T 10s too ?… Rankings also keep changing in Mutual Funds

Can we foresee today, which team (mutual fund) is going to end up being the most consistent outperformer with great sustenance & with minimal losses over the next 3 to 5 years? ?

If anyone can, pls let me know… we’ll try to apply the same logic to picking mutual fund schemes too

We don’t look at winners in a yearly, 2 or 3 year cycles but, we probably might look at the most consistent & sustainable ones in a 7 or a 10 year cycles & the winners keep changing as we keep changing the dates.

Oh, today’s Afghanistan or Ireland might become a best performer over the next 7 or 10 years, but definitely it’s a tough choice to bet on them today ?…. WE JUST CAN’T GUESS THE PROBABILITY OF THEIR WIN OR LOSS, TODAY
