This is the billion dollar question asked by any saver or an investor before putting a foot forward to save or invest ?
Yes, it is important to ask this question; but unfortunately most miss asking the hundred odd questions which are more relevant to their personal money & life situations, before asking this question.
By all means, it’s an Omni question asked to one and all…
to media
to family
to friends
to analysts
to advisors
to fund managers
to market experts
to sales executives
to office colleagues
to the operations executive
to the relationship manager
to the customer service personnel
History shouts at the peak of its voice that, there is a very low probability of anyone to accurately answer this question on the future market levels or asset prices; but, we never learn from it.
Even if an expert does achieve success on a couple of big prediction outcomes; achieving consistency and sustenance on other future predictions is not possible.
“Impossible doesn’t mean I’m Possible” in this. There are no super humans to answer this question consistently and with sustenance.
Infinite known and unknown variables are all acting at the same time on the market / asset price for anyone to get it right. Qualifying and Quantifying them and arriving at a conclusion is not possible. If anyone says that, its possible….Its a blatant lie.
My response to this question was always, is always and will always be….. I DON’T KNOW 🙂
