The first wonder, the first virtue and the first dispensable

Compounding is the eighth wonder of the world, he who understands it Earns It & he who doesn’t Pays It – a statement always attributed to the genius Einstein.

But, have we ever given a thought on, did he really say this statement?

The reality might be is, he never said so; and the statement was just tagged to him to give more credibility to it.

For all the IQ level Einstein was blessed with, he would definitely have not said, at least the first part of the statement.

My thought, Compounding is not the eighth wonder but the FIRST WONDER in investing.

Let’s add the divine VIRTUE of PATIENCE to it, and we probably end up with a long investing journey towards our destination.

And finally, REGRET being the first vice to be DISPENSED OFF with; like the regret of missing on the‘time to invest’, the regret of ‘losing on an investment’ or the regret of ‘not starting early’.

Yes, we need to understand our mistakes and course correct them, but, regretting on“a past decision” is not getting us back either the time & effort or the money vaporized.

Get going on…

Compounding

Patience

Let go, on…

Regret
